Solidifying our Direction and Don't Forget!
Deen Games started with Valence; but due to a lot of personal matters that came up and needed my attention, things were very shaky for a little while. All of that is now taken care of, our development processes are stabilizing, and hopefully we can achieve a lot more now than before.

Valence Final Release
The final release of Valence is here. It contains primarily a re-done story screens, level select screen, and a brand new credits screen. Browse our project retrospective, which discusses background, organizational goals, triumphs, and failures.

Valence 0.6: We're Almost There
Valence 0.6 is our semi-final release. It has a new UI (tutorial panel and status bar), and a new game-complete screen (for normal and puzzle modes). Try it out.

Valence 0.5 Released
Valence 0.5 is out -- the final functional release. It contains level selecting, puzzle mode (12 levels), and two unlimited modes (avalanche and trickle), plus the tricky new addition of inert atoms.

Valence 0.4: New Artwork and Atom Spewage
Valence 0.4 comes with a complete redo of the artwork. In addition, atoms now spew randomly across the board on a set time interval (decreases per level). This makes the game quite a bit more challenging!

Valence 0.3: Balancing Fix
Valence 0.3 comes with a balancing fix that prevents long chains, easy levels, and freezes; and atoms now combine in small clumps (so long chains are much harder to come by).

Valence 0.2: Multiple Levels and New UI
Valence 0.2 comes replete with multiple levels (you can reach up to level 10, but not surpass it) and a consistent, metallic look for the UI.

New Game Under Development: Valence
After over two weeks of hard work, we're very happy to announce the first fully-functional prototype of our chemistry-related game, Valence. The core functionality works; all we need to add are tutorials, levels, and other non-core features (like badges). Match up atom ions to form stable molecules! Clear all atoms of the screen to win.
